Membership

East Legal Team E.E.I.G. can have members in any of the following countries: Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine. In addition to the directly covered countries by its Statutes, ELT also welcomes any law firms who want to join us as associate members or observers and who want to be professionally active in the ELT’s region, be it from Europe, the USA, or from any other corner of the world.

Currently, ELT has six members (one law firm in each of Bulgaria, Cyprus, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovenia) and an associate member with offices in Austria and Italy.

We are constantly looking for expanding our association to the extent of full coverage of the Central and Eastern European countries that can be members of ELT, by receiving new members from the countries that do not yet have a representative law firm in the association. Essentially, the potential members of ELT have to be law firms with a business oriented legal practice, who share our already existing members’ ability to provide legal services in one or more foreign languages of wide interest, as well as ELT’s core values of pro-active thinking and direct partner involvement in all of our projects.

In addition to the membership of ELT, all law firms that are interested in an active collaboration with our association, although not included in the area of coverage for ELT, are at all times welcome to contact any of the members of the board in this respect (please refer to our Contact page).
